A-Tripik

Tent-based show
Creation 2018 –

« A ring! We need a circus ring! But not a circular one, no! Let’s stop going round in circles!
A ring with summits, with sides, angles,
a ring with prongs and points, which can dig a little into the hearts of those who come to look. Things need to change, we all agree to that.
But who’s got the power to change everything ?
You ? Me ? Him ?»

The ring is thus triangular. A ring for three men. Three brothers, three strangers.
Three souls who lean on each other in order to glimpse the world from a little higher up, who march together towards a battle lost in advance : an ancient dream of insurrection.

« Power is only an illusion and the best way to protect onself from it is it not to destroy those who covet it ?”
Through the use of various circus techniques (acrobacy, clown, flemish bar, polyphonic singing…)
Triptik’s three protagonists
put into perspective our complex relationships with power in all its forms.
Separated into three identicals tribunes the spectators
can also have a chance to get a word in.
